A leader in the field of addiction recovery for the past twenty years, Jayne has dedicated her career to assist individuals, couples, and families in their transformation to a healthy, contented lifestyle. Her personal evolution through education and experience has led to the conviction that individuals can overcome barriers to healing and love relationships even when circumstances seem dire or there has been a betrayal.

As a young Florida teacher Jayne was chosen by the FL Department Education of  for a pilot program to add guidance counseling to the public schools, (CARE). She left education when her own family had to face the dilemma of addiction and made the decision to enter the field of counseling. Jayne holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina, and a Master in Guidance Counseling from Florida Atlantic University.

Her personal journey has led her to complete extensive post graduate courses including Certified Enneagram teacher, and Certified Hypnotherapist. She trained personal with Elizabeth Kubler-Ross in grief and dying; and with Jungian analyst Ira Progroff in Jungian journaling and active dreaming. She has over 25 years study of Jungian dream interpretation. Her practice of mindfulness meditation an yoga began over 35 years ago. Jayne also had the opportunity of training in Neurolinguistics with Richard Bandler, founder of the modality; as well as with Michael White, founder of Narrative Therapy. As a Certified Gambling Professional with over 15 years of experience, she works with gamblers, their spouses, and families.

Jayne’s holistic approach is the result of her own personal journey. Known for her multidisciplinary perspective, her background includes Program Manager of the Center for Women Recovery at Hanley-Hazelden, now Hanley Center, where she founded and implemented a gender sensitive residential treatment program, which won national awards as a model in leading edge treatment for women.

Now in private practice in Palm Beach, Florida, Jayne specializes in Personal Recovery Assistance, which includes daily contact with clients in need of special consideration due to vulnerability for relapse. Jayne also performs independent contract services for leading treatment centers.

Currently her passion is working with couples in the repair of marriages. She and her husband are in long term recovery, which informs and supports their nearly fifty year marriage. It has been this committed marriage and the willingness to work through very difficult times, including the death of a daughter and granddaughter, that provides the crucible for Jayne’s resolve. She offers hope and guidance to couples willing to heal through a process of renewing trust and rekindling passion. Completing her certification with Dr. Patrick Carnes in sex and relationship addiction therapy as well as certification in sex therapy with Dr. Susan Lee, Jayne has added the education and skills to fulfill her dream of restoring Couple-ship to those who want a sustaining and empowering marriage and family.
